Fathers’ Journeys is a program which helps fathers connect with each other to share parenting skills. It is especially useful to fathers who are facing economic challenges, or whose families are involved in the child protection system.
The Fathers' Journeys Program helps fathers develop social, parenting, financial and life skills that will make them better parents and help improve the well-being of their families.
Services include:
- Parenting education groups and parenting skills mentoring.
- Emotion management groups.
- Home-based life skills coaching.
- Case management.
Fathers' Journeys serves both custodial and non-custodial parents residing in the Anchorage area.
Fathers' Journeys is sponsored by the Office of Family Assistance, through the Promoting Responsible Fatherhood Initiative.
